Forte was opened in October of 1986 and originally dealt almost exclusively with the factory industry, specifically specializing in factory automation, and has since transitioned its expertise toward medical device manufacturing. In the late nineties, Forte built their first Patient Positioning robot for use in radiation therapy. The company’s presence in the medical field has grown immensely and Forte now produces a wide range of equipment that is used in the medical field, ranging from imaging devices to particle therapy delivery systems. Forte’s involvement in the medical field kept Forte’s products and services in demand during the economic downturn. In 2013, factory automation has flourished once more and Forte’s wide range of expertise is keeping the company busier than ever. Forte has become a global company, has expanded to two locations in the state line area and has doubled its employees in the past two years. Forte is looking for hardworking, high skilled and dedicated individuals to join the Forte team.
