The Agile Business Analyst plays an important role in successful IT solutions delivery through managing project portfolios; gathering, organizing, and delivering business requirements; and assisting with business case and prioritization efforts. The Agile Business Analyst accomplishes results through close collaboration and communication with both business and technical teams from across the organization. The Agile Business Analyst optimizes project quality and delivery flow for IT project teams through facilitation of agile project management processes.

Leads IT project definition and prioritization by working with stakeholders, developers, and internal customers.
Maintains project portfolio roadmap and backlog.
Assists with developing business case and prioritization of features, enhancements, and project initiatives.
Assists with risk, change, and dependency management within project portfolio, coordinating with other internal IT teams.
Delivers business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mockups, demos, etc.
Examines the impact of proposed technology solutions across the business, involves stakeholders to clarify business requirements
Identifies and recommends new technology solutions and solution alternatives as needed.
Participates in / facilitates agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
Engages with development team on agile values, principles, and practices.
Facilitates communication with IT staff and Business customers to assist in the development, implementation, and support of technology solutions.
Performs other duties as required.
Hours of Operation
This position will operate Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Based on need, this position may require after hours support.
Travel requirements for this position are less than 5% of the time.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements: any combination of equivalent education and work experience will be considered.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Project management and/or Agile/Scrum certification a plus

Familiarity with Agile project management and road mapping tools such as JIRA and Aha! a plus.
